SHAID’s Lifeskills programme provides young people with the basic skills needed to make the successful transition to independence the course covers a number of modules which encourage personal & mental growth including: - Housing Tenancy

The Lifeskills course is run on a roll on roll off basis which fits with the young person’s transient lifestyle. For each unit successfully completed the young person receives a county wide recognised certificate from County Durham Learning. The course is constantly evolving with additional units being added thanks to the input of the young people that attend the courses. The Lifeskills programme is based at our Wear Rd training venue.
